Pattern Includes Written and Charted Instructions

Finished Measurements: Wingspan x depth at centre after wet blocking: 60” x 23” / 152.5 cm x 58.5 cm  

Yarn: 600 yds / 548.5 m DK weight / 8-ply yarn that achieves gauge. Sample knit in Madelinetosh Twist DK, in Thyme.  Sample knit with 500 yds, but some testers used 600+, to allow for overage coverage I have stated 600. If you tend to use more yarn then patterns state make sure you have extra, just in case*

Needle Size: US size 8 / 5 mm long circular needle for holding a large number of sts.  

Notions: Tapestry needle, 3 stitch markers, safety pin or removable marker  

Gauge: 16 sts = 4” / 10cm in Lace Stitch after wet blocking (gauge is not overly important; however, it will alter yardage and finished measurements).  

Skill Level: Intermediate Lace Knitter. If working from written Instructions, you MUST be able to read your knitting. WS Rows are knit the knits and purl the purls and yarnovers. Unless otherwise stated in Italic

Row 28 should read to last 5 sts, k1, p2, k2.
Row 41: after Centre St, should read m1l, ssk not k2.
