This shawl starts at the tail and stitches increase at the left and right wings. Proceed in this manner until designated place and continue to work the straight part, which has no increase. Finish with a picot bind-off.
Width of the wings and the depth of the square part are adjustable based on the yarn availability. This design is intended to be folded at the border of the triangle and the straight part so that it stays put on the shoulder while wearing. Although the pattern specifies front and back for knitting, both sides are wearable.

このショールは, 三角部分とストレート部分の境目辺りで折り, 肩へ乗せて着用することを想定したデザインです. まず, 三角部分の先端から始めて, 左右で目を増やしながら編みます. 指定の位置まで進めたら, 増し目のないストレート部分を編み, Picot Bind Offで仕上げます. 増し目部分・ストレート部分のいずれも繰り返し数を増やすことで, お好みで指定サイズよりも大きくすることが可能です.
パターンでは表側・裏側と区別していますが両面とも使用できます. また, 通常のショールのようにぐるりと巻いて使用することもできる大きさです.
