This pattern contains instructions for a shawl and a scarf. Both written and charted instructions are included.

There is V shaping which helps the shawl or scarf stay on without the use of a pin. I used the Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy for the Shawl. It takes 8 balls, 1224 yards. I used Lana Grossa Solo Lino for the scarf. It needs 6 balls, 792 yards.

Both items start with a provisional cast on and you work up, towards the top, decreasing to create the V as you go. When you get to the top, you will finish with the lace zigzag edge. Then pick up from the provisional cast on, and again work the lace zigzag edge. The sides are picked up to work the lace zigzag edge.
