Ashwyn is a name derived from the word Ashvin, a month on the Hindu calendar. Ashwyn is a slouchy beret which was created in conjunction with Malabrigo Stockpile Month, so the name seemed fitting. It was also inspired by the 198 Yds of Heaven shawlette by Christy Verity, and coordinates nicely with that scarf. Knit from the top down, Ashwyn features a leaf lace pattern that blooms from the crown. The hat is finished off with 1x1 ribbing. Size can be adjusted slightly by varying yarn and gauge. Pattern includes full chart, and written instructions.
