This is an advanced-beginner throw pillow pattern that uses short rows to shape the join between two colors of bulky weight wool. Each color is worked separately.

The back of the pillow is an envelope closure to allow for easy removal of the pillow form for cleaning.

You’ll need two skeins of each color, approximately 240 yards each.

For a nice plump pillow use a pillow form two inches larger than the finished dimensions of the cover. As written, this calls for a 20 inch pillow form. An 18 inch pillow form can also be used, this will just result in a slightly deflated looking pillow.
