This slinky cowl is worked seamlessly, in the round as a true Moebius strip. The stitch pattern is a simple stockinette – reverse stockinette horizontal ribbing.

Finished cowl about 50” long x 4” deep, unstretched (127cm x 10cm).

Materials:

  • Aslan Trends Litoral, 1 skein (120 yards, Super Bulky)
  • sz 11 (8.00mm) needles
  • stitch marker

NOTE: if substituting yarn, check the gauge on the label to make sure it says 4” = about 11 – 13 sts, with needles sized 10.5 – 11 (7.00 – 8.00mm). The Aslan Trends Litoral is called Super Bulky, but the main strand is Aran weight, with Super Bulky ribbon accents

Stitches Used:
knit (K), purl (P), and Moebius CO

If you are unfamiliar with the Moebius CO, I recommend you check out Cat Bordhi’s great tutorial on YouTube.

Don’t want to do the Moebius CO? - Just CO normally for working in the round, then follow the instructions given.

PLEASE NOTE: Aslan Trends Litoral Sparkle has less yardage than regular Litoral. If you use it, please omit the final 2 Rounds and BO on Round 8 to be sure you have enough yarn.
