Aslaug fingerless gloves feature a braided cable reminiscent of an old Norse rune, framed by reverse stockinette and ribbed palms. Its name is from the Saga of the Volsungs, an Icelandic saga. Its companions, Sigurd and Brynhild, are the matching hat and cowl.

Finished Size: Cuff and hand 5” unstretched, up to 8” stretched.

Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Valkyrie, 100% Superwash merino, 200 yards/4 oz. Sample knit in Nymeria. Sample required about 140 yards.

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or your preferred method for knitting in the round; size 6 US (4.0 mm) or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 19 stitches/26 rows in 4” blocked stockinette in the round.
