The rustic simplicity of Snoqualmie Valley Yarn seemed like the perfect medium for a pair of high socks inspired by traditional folk stockings in Britain and Scandinavia. The yarn is warm, woolly, wears well, and it lends itself very well to the simple knit-purl texture. To make the pattern a bit more adaptable, I’ve included a legwarmer option.
