Notes: This hat is knit in the round from the brim up, changing to dpns when needed. The colorwork is fully charted.

Finished Measurements
Large: 23” circumference
Medium: 21” circumference
Small: 19” circumference

Yarn: Sagebrush Studios Uinta (100% Mountain Merino); 260 yards 238 meters / 3.5 oz 100 grams; 1 skein in Quaking Aspen Dark (A); 1 skein in Quaking Aspen Light (B), 1 skein in Bur Oak Dark (C)
NOTE: (Sagebrush Studios is a small indie dyer based in Cache Valley, Utah (www.sagebrush-studio.com). For those who may not have access to her yarn, the Uinta base is comparable to Mountain Meadow Wool’s Alpine DK. If substituting yarn consider these factors: 1) Look for a yarn that will allow you to achieve a gauge of 5 sts/inch (typically a worsted weight), and 2) this pattern uses approximately 70-80 yards of each color)

Notions: Stitch markers (m)

Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4” in St st on

Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
