Asperous means rough or craggy which I think is the perfect description of this hat and cowl.
Lots and lots of texture and warmth for winter in the coldest of climates. The larger gauge yarn means it works up quickly and looks great!

Asperous is an intermediate level pattern using post sts, puff sts and a variety of other sts to create all the texture.

Asperous comes in the following sizes…

HAT (to fit head size)
S: 20” 51cm
M: 21” 53.5cm
L: 22” 56.5cm

COWL

Circumference:
S: 21.5” 54.5cm
M: 23” 58.5cm
L: 25” 63.5cm

Width: 8½” 22cm

400yds of worsted/aran weight yarn will make both the hat and the cowl.
