I recently learned that there are no patterns for those who use assistive hearing devices. I had a fellow knitter reach out to me asking for help finding a pattern; unfortunately, we could not find one on Etsy or Ravelry.

This beanie was designed with the typical head dimensions and position of cochlear implants and hearing aids in mind. You may need to adjust this pattern given the unique measurements of the wearer’s head and devices. There will be information at the end to assist with these adjustments.

This is an advanced beginner knitting pattern. I purposefully made this pattern to be a “Basic Beanie” for those who use hearing devices. There are very clear diagrams and guiding instructions to help make this as easy as possible! There are stitch counts for a toddler, youth, adult small, and adult large.
