THE BARLEY SUGAR STITCH FORMS a spiraling swirl of pattern and texture into this charming chapeau, named for Maxcine’s father. The pattern is inspired by the stunning Bamboo Alley (one of the most photographed spots on the island of Jamaica). Bamboo grows strong and tall, leading the wandering traveler along the avenue’s beckoning tunnel.

This pattern is sized to knit for baby, teen and adult.

Correction on adult crown shaping: numbers decrease by two’s.
