Aston is a unisex infinity cowl with icord edges, suitable for teens and adults.

Knit from the bottom up, using Rowan’s Pure Wool Aran (or equivalent aran weight yarn), Aston utilises a simple cross rib stitch pattern that is easy enough for a beginner wanting to challenge themselves and add to their skills. Unlike traditional cable knitting where you effectively rearrange stitches in the row you are working on, the crossed stitches in Aston’s fabric are made using slipped stitches - it’s so easy, you don’t even need a cable needle (trust me, you really don’t)!

Using approximately 300yds of aran weight yarn, Aston is a perfect stashbuster. Try it in a single colour for a classic look; or pack a punch by using a contrasting colour for rounds 7 to 9 of the pattern - either way, you’ll be left with a cosy, textured piece that can be worn looped singly or doubly around the neck.

Instructions are provided in both written and charted format, and the pattern has been professionally tech-edited.
