This pattern for cabled socks is one of six patterns available exclusively in the Sockupied Spring 2012 eMag for immediate download to PC or MAC computers.

This design is symmetrical in places you wouldn’t expect and asymmetrical in places you’d expect symmetry. A large-repeat cable motif, worked twice across the instep, is offset, and the cables are confined to the front of the socks to highlight Kate Atherley’s own “Naïve Gusset” shaping. Subtly varied ribbing runs up the back of the leg.
