This lovely top down semicircular shawl is easy to knit and flows from one lace pattern to another. If you love the gratification of knitting a shawl, which hugs your shoulders, or love patterns, which keep you interested in the knitting process, this shawl is for you. I hope you enjoy knitting this shawl, whether it is your first attempt at lace…At Last…or whether it will be another addition to your lace shawl collection. This shawl can be larger, simply by knitting more within each increase section, however, a bigger shawl will require more yarn yardage. Charted and row–by-row written instructions are included.
MEASUREMENTS:
Finished – 133cm x 53cm (52” wingspan x 21” deep) .
Knitted in Wollmeise Twin 150g (510 yard,1skein )- this yarn has a wonderful sheen, stitch definition and drape. But can also be knitted in the other suggested yarns which have an equal stitch definition and drape. After knitting a gauge swatch with Wollmeise skein, I had 5 yards left, so be aware you may need a bit more or make sure your gauge swatch can be used if needed.
If you choose to knit this shawl in a larger size make sure you have more fingering weight yardage (700 yes approximate).
Gauge Swatch Instructions included.

8/27/14- larger version picture added. Larger version knitted in Fleur de Fiber Atlantis yarn in Dragonfly 710 yards per skein.
