Gauge

7 stitches and 6 rows = 4 inches
in Chain as many as you want plus 1” for the width of your blanket. Be sure your chain is nice and even. If it is not, plan on your work being slightly larger or smaller than the base chain. You can get the best measurement after row 1.

This amazing fluffy, soft and heavy blanket is one of my favorite crochet works. Usually, I crochet expecting to gift or sell. Not this one, its going on the couch and staying there! You can make this blanket in many sizes. The pattern and expected yardage in blanket yarn is for the cover photo blanket that is finished with a border 48”x58”. You can get more size by adding rows to the border or a slightly bigger blanket by going up to a larger hook. (Keeping in mind you may use a bit more yarn) Please read all pattern notes and gauge information.
