Kits for this project are available at YarnScout in 9 different colors!

This project ticks two of my personal boxes - holding yarns together to create texture and very quick to knit! When we received Katia Atmosfera in the shop last month, I knew it needed to be knit into a light and lofty cowl; the brushed alpaca traps the warmth and is fluffy soft! But, because I like a bit of texture and structure, I decided to play with holding another strand. Katia Lagom was the perfect match - the chainette construction also makes this lightweight, and the heathered natural colors work perfectly with the colors of Atmosfera.

And yes, this is a super fast knit. I worked mine up in about 2 1/2 hours - at that rate, you should be able to make one for everyone on your list. Beginners will of course need a little more time, but this is a great project to practice your knits, purls and knitting in the round.

The pattern appears on the YarnScout website blog, or a print copy will be included in your order when purchasing a kit from YarnScout.
