Atossa was the Queen of Persia. Daughter of King Cyrus the Great and wife of King Darius the Great. This pattern is named after her as it is fit for a queen. It is a beautiful sweater with long modified drop-sleeves. The front and back are in Stockinette stitch, but the sleeves are worked in a beautiful lace pattern. The cowl neck follows the same lace pattern as sleeves.

This design is part of Lace ‘n More magazine Winter 2012 issue of Lace ‘n More magazine.
