The Aubade shawl is knit in the round from the center out. It’s a classic Pi Shawl with a few cleverly placed increase rounds and lots of simple knitting in between. I have designed this shawl to be knit in lace weight yarn, using the majority of a 1000yd skein. I also happen to think that it would make a fantastic blanket knit in a heavier weight yarn and in multiple colours! Stripes of lace and stockinette stitch make it very easy to modify for a striped look. Have fun!

Finished measurements:
Blocked Shawl is 42” in diameter.
