Glamour, elegance and sophistication inspired this wrap.

Made with kidsilk haze, the colour wash and size 5 triangle beads allow the fabric to drape beautifully, delicately hugging your shoulders whilst allowing movement and keeping you “sensibly” warm in the good old fashioned 1950s glamorous way.

I keep thinking of Audrey Hepburn, so Audrey Hepburn it is!

The stole is knitted from top to bottom, using two strands of yarn throughout with beads being added using the crochet hook method.

The pattern details how the stole can be adapted in size. The yarn and beads used are based on knitting the stole as described to give a 125cm by 40cm garment.

Gauge is based over the pattern stitch, which is for guidelines only.

3 complementary colours of Rowan kidsilk haze, fading in colour depth through dark, medium to light. The higher the contrast the stronger the stripe definition. 2 25g balls of each colour are required.

Beads add weight to the stole, and as written the pattern calls for 750 size 5 Miyuki triangle beads.
