The axolotl (say ACK-suh-LAH-tuhl) is a charming amphibian that’s usually pink (though sometimes black) and always has a cheery grin. Axolotls are experts at regeneration and can regrow limbs, organs, and bones!

This is a quick knit, worked in the round. It features some advanced intermediate techniques such as provisional cast on. The gills and toes in this pattern feature a construction technique designed to save time by eliminating the need to break the yarn and reattach it.
