CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The garment is knitted back and forth in rows and begins at the bottom edge. The Front is knitted first, followed by the Back. The shoulders are joined together by a three-needle bind off. Then, the sleeve stitches are picked up and the sleeves are worked down to the cuff. The sleeve cuffs are worked in the same manner as the bottom edge or hem of the body. The neck band also matches the hem and cuffs. The first and last stitches of the pieces are selvedge stitches and are always worked as a knit stitch. Seams are then joined with the RS facing using mattress stitch.
