PDF pattern for a pair of fingerless mitts/gloves with an auricula flower on the front of each mitt. The palms of the mitts are plain.

The mitts in the photo were knitted using Rowan Pure Wool 4ply in black. The flower heads are in pale mauve, dark mauve and pinky mauve with yellow tweed-mix centres and the stems and leaves are in light lime and olive green mixed 4ply wool.

The motifs are knitted using intarsia, but the mitts could be knitted in plain stocking stitch and the flowers added afterwards using duplicate stitch.

Charts for both left and right mitt are included, together with typed knitting instructions.

The approximate measurements for the mitts are: 3.5” wide (unstretched and not counting the thumb), 5” long from top of rib to cast-off edge and 1” long rib. The mitts could be made slightly larger or smaller by altering the size of the needles
