This is a listing for instructions on how to crochet your own puppies - this is NOT the finished product. This is the crochet PATTERN only. This pattern is written in English and uses American crochet terminology. It includes lots of photos along with step-by-step instructions.

Materials Needed:
• Worsted weight yarn, chunky weight yarn
• 3mm and 6mm hooks
• 12mm safety eyes and nose
• Embroidery floss
• Poly Fill
• Tapestry needle, straight pins, skewer to push in stuffing, scissors
• Optional black pantyhose or knee-hi so the stuffing doesn’t show through the black stitches (instructions on how to use on the next page)

Size
Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished products will vary depending on the size yarn and hooks you use. Using the materials listed, the puppy measures about 6 1/2” tall when sitting. Using thinner yarn and smaller hooks will yield smaller items. Using thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in larger items. An individual crocheter’s yarn tension can also be a factor in sizing as well.

Skill Level: The pattern is written for intermediate to advanced crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the color-changes). The crocheter should also be familiar with making amigurumi and understand basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help.
