100g worsted weight + 7 mm Tun. + 6 mm reg

What’s this: This is the Autumn cowl. It was designed as part of the #craftycookies2016 project initiated by Underground Crafter, and is part of my collection of free crochet patterns (if you’re buying it here it is to get an ad-free version that includes explanations of the Tunisian stitches). It also includes a cookie recipe created by my friend Marie-Ange!

Why should I make this: This is the perfect little cowl to wear when you cozy up under a blanket, with a cup of tea, a cookie, and a bit of crochet, on cool autumn nights.

When will this get the most use: When it starts to get dark too early!

Who is it for: Just about anyone!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet & Tunisian crochet stitches. You will need 100g of worsted weight yarn (used here, MJ Dreams Peruvian worsted & a 7 mm interchangeable Tunisian hook with cord, and a 6 mm standard hook. Other notions: 5 small buttons, a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.

Qu’est-ce que c’est? C’est le col Automne. Vous y trouverez aussi une recette de biscuits créés par mon amie Marie-Ange!

Pourquoi je l’aime tant? C’est le col parfait à porter quand on se cache sous une couverture, avec une tasse de thé, un biscuit et un peu de crochet par les douces soirées d’automne.

Quand sera-t-il utile? Quand il commence à faire noir trop tôt.

À qui s’adresse ce modèle? À tout l’monde!

Je commence où? Modèle Intermédiaire – vous devez être confortable avec les mailles de base (ou avoir envie d’apprendre le crochet) du crochet standard et du crochet tunisien. Vous aurez besoin de 100g de laine de poids ‘worsted’ (ici, MJ Peruvian Dreams worsted) & d’un crochet tunisien interchangeable 7 mm et son cordon, ainsi que d’un crochet standard 6 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin de 5 petits boutons, d’une aiguille à laine et de marque-points.
