When I set out to make this jacket. I wanted a something I could wear that would keep me plenty warm on those cool fall nights sitting by the fire.

I was inspired by the Autumn Leaves, the many shades of Red, Orange, and Yellow that the trees will paint their leaves. Captivated by these colors, I wanted to capture the beauty of the season.

This jacket is worked in the round from the bottom up. The body and sleeves are joined at the yoke, steeked in the center, and the button bands are picked up and knit along the steek edges.

We had to make a revision to the yarn weight. Originally it said Aran Weight. It is really Bulky Weight. It has been changed on Knitty in bright pink letters.
