Yardage in the pattern relates to knitting and sewing together five triangles of this yarn or something of similar weight.

To knit each triangle of bunting:

Cast on 32sts
Knit entire triangle in garter stitch (knit every row) to prevent curling. Also means entire bunting garland is reversible once created.

Row 1: Knit first row.
Row 2: K2tog, knit to end, k2tog last 2 sts.
Row 3 and all other odd rows: Knit row to end.
Row 4 and all other even rows: K2tog, knit to end, k2tog last 2 sts.
When you get down to the last 4sts still knit a row inbetween k2tog rows even though it’s tempting to just k2tog 4sts down to 1 really quick!
Once you have just one stitch left on your needle from decreasing loop the wool or yarn you’re using through the stitch, slip off the needle and pull tight.

Weave in your ends - often I find the end from casting on at the beginning is a good length to use to sew into the next triangle and then weave in to join them together to create the bunting.
