After making a jumper for a friend, I had more leftover yarn than I expected, so I decided to make her some matching accessories to go with it. She lives in London and loves to wander through Hyde Park in the autumn and delight in the simple wonders of life, so I wanted to design something sweet and poetic for those chilly days.

The result is this set of 3 accessories: a cowl that tranforms into a hat at the pull of a pompom, a pair of fingerless mitts and an ear-warming headband with a crocheted flower. Perfect for using up leftover yarn, and great for practicing fair-isle colour work on a smaller object before starting that jumper you keep meaning to make!
