Autumn has always been my favorite time of year. I love the cool, crisp air, apples, cider, and kicking up fallen leaves. These fingerless mitts are perfect for those cooler fall days when you are raking leaves or just out having fun.

These mitts begin with a slip stitch ribbing which gives the cuffs a bit of pizzazz! A simple lace pattern adorns the back of the hands and is reminiscent of the falling leaves.

This pattern requires just one skein of DK weight yarn and is suitable for variegated yarns. Choose your favorite DK yarn in vibrant fall colors or chose bright colors for spring mitts.

The pattern is written for the 2 circular technique, but is easily adapted to magic loop or dpns.
