“Autumn Manifold Jacket” is a fashionable hooded jacket best worked in variegated yarn with medium long color repeats, but equally interesting looking in shorter repeats, self-striping or hand-painted yarns, too.

The jacket is worked flat and sideways from sleeve to sleeve with a fitted yoke knitted on afterwards.
The unique spike pattern is composed of conjoined strips of short bias rolls, alternating between sections with parallel right leaning and left leaning rolls, with narrow welts in between.

A schematic and many photographs illustrating individual work steps are placed at the end of the 8 page pattern for those who opt not to print them. Optional instructions for knitting back without turning are included for those want to try this time-saving and convenient method, but not mandatory.

Detailed row-by-row instructions in an editable PDF - text can be edited in knitting apps or placed in a Word file by the user to keep track of the row currently worked on.
