The autumn colours of the maples are spectacular. The native species turn a lovely orange or red colour in autumn. The Japanese maples are the latest to turn, and the variety in colours is even wider. They are the last trees to turn colour, often well into November, depending on the weather. These patterns are based on the same stitches as I used in my Spring Maple Shawl.

The gloves are worked in the round from the cuff up. Instructions are given for 2 circular needles, but double pointed needles or magic loop may be substituted. Beads are optional.

Both charts as well as written instructions are included.
