Born out of a collaboration with Quack Yarn, a local-to-me indie yarn dyer, this pattern celebrates variegated sock yarns and finds a way to show off their colours and incorporate a little texture without the texture or the colours overwhelming each other.

The pattern is written for top-down construction using whichever needle configuration you prefer, and employs a heel flap and turn for maximum adjustability. The simple textured panel is kept to the front of the sock only.
