The unusual seven-sectioned construction of this shawl forms a U-shape that sits beautifully around the neck and shoulders or gives plenty of options for wrapping or tying. Two alternating lace patterns, one more open and one more solid with additional surface texture, keep you entertained while knitting, each with its own border pattern.

The shawl is worked top-down from a garter tab start. Instructions are included for three specific sizes as well as information on how to customize the pattern for additional sizes.

Gauge is also given over stockinette stitch: 18 sts and 26 rows = 4” / 10 cm.

Note: This pattern does involve both wrong and right-side patterning, including 1/1 cable crossings on both sides of the fabric, but no yarnovers on the wrong side.

Stitch patterns are charted only at this time.
