Always use the needle size that enables you to match the specified gauge.

22 sts and 25 rows over 10cm / 4in of Wave Lace Pattern worked flat and blocked, using 4mm / US 6 needles. Each lace repeat measures 4cm x 13cm.

Finished size is approximately: 185cm / 73in wingspan (tip to tip) by 58cm /23in deep at widest edge.

Pattern Notes

This shawl is worked in a shallow triangle shape from the tip to the cast-off edge. The gentle wave pattern is worked across the full length of the shawl. This simple lace pattern is fully charted and written instructions are provided if you prefer.

This shawl is easy to adjust, simply work the pattern repeat until your shawl is the size you want. Adjusting the size will change the yardage requirements.
