Always be yourself, unless you can be an axolotl.
Then, always be an axolotl.

Found only in Lake Xochimilco in Mexico, these little creatures truly just capture my heart with their cuteness. So, costume we must. <3

Hat is worked double strand throughout for structure. The gill branches are worked tightly and stuffed firmly and after a good sewing, stand alone with no wires!

Intermediate stitches used in the pattern: working in the round, sc, hdc, dc. It is worked tightly amigurumi style which may take some getting used to if you’ve not, but the results are so worth it!

You can sell as many finished pieces that you, the original pattern purchaser, makes with your own two hands. Please do not share the pattern in part or in whole by any means. Please do not alter a little or a lot and claim as your own, paid or free. Sharing the link here to purchase and crediting Crochetverse as the designer is always so appreciated.
