This pattern is for an airy, summery slouchy beanie featuring a large central flower motif, and a pretty openwork stitch pattern. This hat works up lightning-fast, and is perfect for any weather! The pattern comes with easy to follow step-by-step instructions and helpful, clear photos.

This is an original design, using US crochet terms. You may not copy, distribute or sell this pattern as your own design, but feel free to sell finished hats made from this pattern!

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (Requires knowledge of sc and dc stitches).

Size: One size fits most. Hat measures approximately 20.5” around and 9-9.5” long, and will stretch.

Materials: -A total of approximately 170 yards light worsted weight yarn (Example uses Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in Provincial Rose).

Tools:
-Hook: Size H/8 (5mm), or size to obtain correct gauge. For a tighter-fitting hat, you may want to use a G hook for the brim portion.
-Yarn needle
-Tape measure

Gauge: Hat should measure just over 7.75” across after Rnd 4. It is better to be slightly over gauge than slightly under gauge for this hat.
