The inspiration for this shawl came from two different things. The first was the coming of Spring & Summer and the need for something bright to wrap around myself that matched the lovely flowers in my garden, The second was all the lovely knitted lacework that I’ve seen since I started knitting & crocheting. What I wanted to create was a crochet version of something lacey and airy and containing the crochet equivalent of nupps. In this pattern they are crochet clusters.
