This new pattern has a nice story. One afternoon I was talking to my dear friend Azzuka
about shawls, while knitting the Mormor’s Shawl Kal, and she was telling me about some mods she wanted to make in order to have a long and slim shawl that she could twist around her neck and still make a knot in the front, something that is perfect with a coat during the winter and stylish and trendy in spring time on a jeans jacket. And here it is, I designed the Azzu’s Shawl and I must say that she was right: now that spring has arrived it is just wonderful to wear it. And it gives that special touch. Thank you for the inspiration:)

And thank you to kuaikuai
for preparing a helpful worksheet for the pattern:)

Thank you to milimani for the German translation:)

Thank you to windnight for her Russian translation:)

This is a top-down shawl, worked from the top center back outward. It is lovely both worn as a scarf and as a shawl on the shoulders. Happy knitting:)
