My favorite time of year is fall, cool crisp mornings and warm afternoons, the changing colors of the trees. Pulling out all my wooly knits, I could live in eternal autumn.

This ethereal fall feeling is all but ruined by nearly every retail establishment who starts stocking their shelves with Christmas goods, to that I say Baa Humbug!

What you will need:
• Yarn: Fingering or Sport weight wool in two colors (approx. 35
yards of main color, 5-10 yard of contrast colors)
• Needles: 5 Double Pointed Needles in Size 1 (2.5 mm)
• Stuffing
• Crochet hook (optional)
• Tapestry needle
• Hemostats (optional, used for stuffing the ornament)
