Perfect simple and elegant set for your sweet baby - booties and a beanie.

Use wool, angora, mochair or acrylic for cooler weather set. And cotton or acrylic for summer set.

Explanations step by step are for 6weeks to 3month old babies, but I have added also size charts and small explanations for larger sizes.

Sizes in size chart for booties: are from 6lbs to 36month
Sizes in beanie size chart: are from Preemie to Child (plus adults)

Also international needle and yarn explanation charts added.

I used knitting needles NR 4 (metric system), 6 - US, 8 - UK, some chart tables say a little different but the difference is so small that it will not affect anything for sizing.

Yarn differences also explained. For this size NR of needles you will need UK - DK yarn, US - DK/Light worsted yarn. Or - any yarn what fits needles NR 4 - how to know that? I have explained it:

If the yarn you would like to use is different or the label is lost - not a problem. I have explained how to reach needed yarns thickness for needed NR of needles also.

And a very important and BIG plus - I have explained how to choose the right yarn for needles you have and back - how to choose right size needles for the yarn you have, too.

Also - if you have different NR of needles size and yarn I used - I have explained how to calculate the right size for your knitting.
