This is a revised version of my previous Double Ruffle Baby Blanket for beginners. I added the third ruffle and Heart Appliques, and I also made a video tutorial:

Easy and beginner friendly, only simple stitches are used: SC, DC, Sl St and CH (some DC stitches are FL and BL though). Great way to practice your hand with repeating patterns and stitches.
You can make just the blanket without fringe, (24 x 24 in or 61 x 61 cm), or 1 layer of ruffle, or 2 layers, or all 3 (in this case the blanket will be 29 in x 29 in (74 x 74 cm) - it is up to you to decide :)
Bonus: Heart applique - you can make a lot of them to use for your other projects :)
Yarn : you will need about 18 oz (510 grams) medium to worsted weight yarn (#4), the softer the better
