The Purl Bee’s Baby Bloomers are as lovely and as special as the baby that will wear them. They are made out of Anzula’s Mermaid, which is a featherweight, super soft and absolutely gorgeous hand dyed mix of silk and sea cell.

MATERIALS

  • 2 skeins of Anzula’s Mermaid, 60% Sea Cell and 40% Silk. These colors are Seaside and Country Green.
  • A US #0, 16-inch circluar needles
  • A US #1, 16-inch circular needles
  • A US #2, 20-inch circular needles
  • A set of US #1 double pointed needles

This is enough yarn for 4 (3 if the third pair used one color for the ribbing and the other color for the bloomer, 2) Baby Bloomers.

GAUGE
9 stitches = 1 inch in stockinette stitch, using the largest needle

6-9 (9-12, 12-18) months

  • Waist circumference (unstretched): 12 1/2 (13 1/2, 14 1/2) inches
  • Waist circumference (stretched): 20 (21 1/2, 23) inches
