Every baby needs a warm blanket and every parent needs the blanket to be machine-washable. Ta-da! This yarn is great to work with, and though it is wool it is very light-weight and lofty.

This pattern begins with the cast on and flows through to the bind off. No stitches to pick up! The main stitch pattern is easy to follow and remember, but not boring. There are twisted stitches on each edge to define the borders.

The pattern is in written form, but don’t let this bother the chart readers! The “chart” will become evident in the knitting.

The pattern repeat is 12 plus 17, in case you want to alter it.
