We wanted to create a pair of booties that are functional as well as really cute. These are a quick project for a semi-experienced crocheter to whip up, and make a perfect new baby gift to be treasured.

The booties are made in one piece in the round, joining after each round. Faux suede ties are added at the end to make sure they stay on.

Size
Using a 4mm hook will give you a newborn size pair of booties, whereas if you size your hook up by 0.5mm you will have a pair of booties suitable for a baby up to six months.

You can also use a heavier weight yarn to get a larger size, although this might make the end product a bit stiff.
