This sweater was made for my newest nephew, who should come in September 2013. I find cables to be dull, so this sweater has pretty much the fewest cables you can get away with … without making your project look like a messy glob. If you prefer a neater look, or if you are perhaps just less lazy than myself, cable every 4th row instead of every 6th (that is, take out rows 5, 6, 9, & 10). If you need to get something less dear, try a light dk-sport weight as the Cashmere Elite is likewise on the finer side. I’ve included a chart of the cable pattern, which is especially helpful when working increases in sleeves.

Yarn: Karabella Cashmere Elite. Sweater: 4, (4, 5, 5) balls. Hat: 1 ball.
