The ‘Baby Chick in Egg’ pattern is the perfect Easter surprise! This little hatchling is easy and quick to crochet with yarn held doubled, and makes an adorable children’s gift! The chick can be removed from the eggshell, and the bow and ribbon can be taken off as well. Kids will love playing with this cute toy.

Sl st: slip stitch

Tr: treble (“triple”) crochet

Materials:

• Worsted medium weight (4) yarn in three colors: yellow, white, and pink. (I used Caron Simply Soft yarn.)
• 3.75 mm crochet hook (I love Clover Amour crochet hooks!)
• Pair of 10mm plastic safety eyes
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
