This cap is quick to make and is adorable for those special newborn or baby photos! Make it in your favorite ‘cupcake’ colors or to match a special outfit and give it that finishing touch!

The pattern uses the following stitches – chains, single crochet, double crochet and slip stitches. There is also a double crochet cross-stitch (directions below). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via the email address at the end of the pattern.

Double-Crochet “Cross Stitch”: Worked over two stitches: skip first stitch and double-crochet in next stitch; then double-crochet in skipped stitch – ‘crossing over’ the double-crochet stitch you just completed. Abbreviated ‘DC-CS’ in pattern directions.
