These adorable little dragon babies have just hatched and are ready to explore the world!

This pattern is written in English and uses American crochet terminology. It includes lots of photos and step-by-step instructions.

Materials:
• Yarn: Worsted weight - green and speckled tan
• 3mm and 2.75mm crochet hooks
• Fiberfill
• 6mm safety eyes
• Embroidery Floss
• Sewing thread to match the color of the egg
• 1 shank button - ½”
• Tapestry needle, regular sewing needle, straight pins, safety pin, scissors

Size
Made with the materials listed, the dragon sits at about 2.25” tall and the egg is about 3.5” tall. Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished products will vary depending on the size yarn and hooks you use.
• Using a thinner yarn and smaller hooks will yield smaller items. Using thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in larger items. An individual crocheter’s yarn tension can also be a factor in sizing as well.

Pattern Notes
The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help. Also feel free to contact me with any questions. I’ll be glad to help in any way I can.
