When you are used to most elementary lace stitches and looking for something a little more interesting, this pattern compels. The lace pattern is a little more involved than many, but still only 8 rows high; alternate rows involve knits and purls both, but the ‘active’ rows are rich in increases and decreases (see the Abbreviations section of the data page). Buttonbands are worked up in 1 x 1 rib from stitches on hold at the hem, then sewn down to meet at back neck. Flower instructions included.

Pattern calls for Snuggly DK yarn. Also suitable for Snuggly Tiny Tots DK, Snuggly Kisses DK, Snuggly Baby Bamboo DK, Snuggly Pearls DK, and Snuggly Baby Speckle DK.
