This is a free pattern of a Christmas tree with a removable top, revealing a little “manger” underneath with a swaddled baby Jesus. I designed and made this for my boys’ room for Advent in 2010, to help prepare their hearts for Christmas. This little tree is intended as a decoration. Therefore it is not intended for small children, especially those under the age of three.

Yarn: Vanna’s Choice in green, gold, white & brown or equivalent yarn weight/colours

Notions: small 2″ wooden peg doll or wooden game piece, tiny craft pompoms

Hook: 4.5 or H-5mm Hook

Gauge: Is not important for this project
